From WooCommerce to Shopify, Kickstarter-Ready
TRAVOCA
TRAVOCA sells premium outdoor gear, starting with their flagship eCooler, an electric fridge/freezer engineered to bring the convenience of home into rugged, off-grid environments. The team came to us with one goal: get a functional, user-friendly Shopify store up and running fast.
The initial WooCommerce setup just wasn’t built for the kind of speed and scalability they needed. Referred to us by our friends at Feetures (thanks, Jinny!), they were looking for a team that could advise on eComm best practices and help them launch an MVP store within 5 weeks before their kickstarter went live.

Forging a "Cooler" Path
Some projects come with big product catalogs, deep integrations, and months of planning. Others are all about speed, clarity, and getting out of the way so a client can launch with confidence. That was the case with TRAVOCA.
With a Kickstarter campaign on the horizon, TRAVOCA came to us looking for a clean, lightweight Shopify build that could support their launch and grow with them over time. They had great branding, a clear product story, and a tight deadline. We rolled up our sleeves, kept the scope tight, and built a fast, modern site to match.
Product Detail Page
We set-up clean, conversion-focused product pages that highlighted what matters most for a launch: clear pricing, specs, and compelling visuals. Below the fold, we added flexible content blocks for feature highlights, giving the TRAVOCA team space to tell the product story without overwhelming the buy box.

Drive preorders
For the eCooler, we added a prominent call-to-action linking directly to their Kickstarter campaign to drive preorders during the fundraising window.
Metafields
We set up metafields to showcase detailed specs and downloadable manuals to have dyanmic content on the PDPs.

Core Content Pages
For launch, we focused on building clean, purposeful pages that laid the groundwork for brand trust and customer communication. The About page was expanded from their original WooCommerce content, blending strong copy with visual storytelling to highlight the inspiration behind the eCooler and TRAVOCA's commitment to premium outdoor gear. We also included a streamlined Contact page to make it easy for customers to reach out.

Blog
To support long-term engagement, we helped TRAVOCA set up a blog section featuring outdoor cooking tips and cooler-friendly recipes, an engaging way to build community and keep content fresh. Together, these pages give early visitors a clear picture of who TRAVOCA is and what they’re creating.

App Integrations
Our quick Shopify build included support for up to six essential apps. For launch, Travoca prioritized Shopify Search & Discovery, Mailchimp for email marketing, and Instafeed to bring their Instagram content onto the site. We kept the setup streamlined but flexible, with plans to layer in additional tools like reviews and loyalty programs post-Kickstarter.

The Trail Continues
TRAVOCA has big plans for this brand. The Shopify launch was just the beginning. With a successful kickstarter underway, they’ve already started conversations with us about a long-term retainer to support growth, add new features, and continue building out their direct-to-consumer strategy.
We’re excited to keep working with the team as the brand grows and look forward to what’s coming next.
