Turning Gray into a Silverist Lining

What’s a Netalico site launch without a great pun...but in all seriousness, we’re thrilled to announce the launch of Silverist on Shopify, which went live on Wednesday, August 28, 2024! Silverist is all about celebrating the beauty of gray hair by offering not only high-quality products but also education and community support for those embracing their silver strands.

The Background Story

When Evelyn, founder of Silverist, approached Netalico 1.5 years ago, she had a clear vision: to create a brand that celebrates the beauty of natural silver hair. After spending two decades dyeing her prematurely gray hair, she decided to embrace her silver in 2015, only to find a glaring gap in the market—there simply weren’t reliable products or information tailored for silver hair. Drawing on her 20+ years in the beauty and consumer goods industry, Evelyn knew she had to create something better. Silverist was born to fill that void, offering high-quality, plant-based ingredients that address the needs of silver hair from root to tip.


Our collaboration with Evelyn was grounded in her passion for empowerment and education. This site project was split into phases, starting with the launch of Silverist’s blog. This blog became an educational hub, building an email list of engaged customers and providing valuable resources for those embarking on their silver hair journey. Once the blog had gained traction, we moved on to phase two—the full eCommerce launch.

The Build Process

With the phased approach to the build, the site started with a "coming soon" landing page to generate interest and anticipation. This was followed by the launch of the Silverist blog that included a hub of educational resources, tips, and guidance to help future customers embrace their gray hair with confidence. In August, we launched the full eCommerce store, marking a major milestone for the brand.


The website was designed to reflect Silverist's mission of empowerment, offering a seamless shopping experience. We worked to ensure every aspect of the site aligned with the brand’s core values with product pages that highlight beautiful imagery, detailed ingredients, and glowing customer reviews.

An easy-to-navigate glossary that educates customers on the high-quality, ingredients used in Silverist products, aligning with the brand's commitment to transparency.


Interactive Cart

The cart includes an interactive shipping bar that fills up as customers get closer to qualifying for free shipping. Plus, a "Pair It With" section suggests complementary products to enhance the shopping experience and increase average order value.

One of the standout features of the Silverist site is the Product Detail Pages. Each page is designed to highlight key product information, including high-quality images, detailed ingredient breakdowns, and real customer reviews through Okendo. We also implemented custom metafield badges to indicate product features such as cruelty-free, silicone-free, and more, making it easy for customers to identify what’s important to them. Plus, the "Complete the look" section adds a personal touch to the shopping experience, encouraging further product exploration.

Building for Growth

Our collaboration with Silverist extended beyond just the site build. We also worked closely with the team to develop an email marketing strategy to support the brand’s launch. This included crafting a pre-launch welcome message for early subscribers, building excitement and anticipation for the brand’s debut. Post-launch, we implemented key automated flows like Abandoned Cart & Checkout, Browse Abandonment , and a comprehensive Welcome Series , ensuring that customers stay engaged with the brand long after their first visit.
