Oatly is an international growing and industry-disrupting oatmilk brand. Since 2019, we have served as the Oatly US team’s Shopify website development team. Oatly chose Netalico because of our small size, responsiveness, and high level of expertise.

Through our partnership, we provide UX recommendations and design support. Netalico oversaw a headless global site redesign and ensured the US Shopify site would integrate smoothly. In a collaboration with Recharge, we elevated the product subscriptions experience. Oatly US was determined to create a direct-to-consumer subscription model. The main goals focused around allowing customers to purchase at their convenience and have autonomy to manage their subscription. Since launching, Oaty has seen a 188% increase in monthly recurring revenue.

Additionally, we’ve provided technical email marketing support and strategy. Oatly was new to email when we started working together. They wanted more control over their transactional emails to create a stellar customer experience, even with inventory and shipping issues. With a growing subscriber list, they wanted to use email marketing to connect with their rabid fanbase. This led Oatly to send 700,000 emails and counting, with a 40%+ open rate. Not only did our email support influence a more informed and delightful customer experience, but improved subscriber growth by 200%+.
