mellow is an electronics brand offering everyday audio essentials designed to look good, sound great, and fit seamlessly into daily life. Connected to the broader Axessorize ecosystem, the brand needed a Shopify site that clearly showcases their products while making it easy for customers to compare options and shop with confidence.
We partnered with the team to build a modern Shopify experience that balances clean design with practical functionality.

This project focused on launching a polished, easy to manage Shopify site using a streamlined, theme based approach.
The goal was clarity first. Clear product information, intuitive navigation, and a shopping experience that works just as well on mobile as it does on desktop. The result is a site that feels approachable and well organized, without unnecessary complexity.

Product Pages Built for Clarity
Mellow’s product detail pages were designed to answer questions upfront and reduce friction at the point of purchase. We used Shopify metafields to structure detailed product specifications, keeping technical information easy to scan without overwhelming the page. Within the buy box, key details like pricing, availability, and calls to action are surfaced clearly, creating a smooth path from browsing to checkout. The result is a product page that stays focused on the product while supporting confident, informed purchase decisions.
Features That Simplify the Path to Purchase
With the foundation set, we layered in features that help customers compare products, build confidence, and complete purchases with fewer questions along the way.

Built In Product Comparison
To help customers choose the right gear, we introduced a comparison section below the fold on product pages for key categories like speakers and headphones. This makes it easy to evaluate features side by side, helping shoppers understand differences quickly and make more confident decisions without leaving the page.

Drawer Cart with Smart Upsells
We implemented a drawer cart experience that keeps customers engaged without disrupting their flow. Within the cart, we added product upsells labeled “Trending this month,” giving shoppers relevant add ons at the right moment while keeping the experience lightweight and intuitive.

Reviews That Build Trust
Product reviews were integrated using Yotpo to add social proof and credibility throughout the site. Reviews are surfaced in a way that feels natural and helpful, reinforcing trust without overpowering the product experience.

Built In Tools for a Cross Border Audience
To support both Canadian and US customers, we leveraged native Shopify features like Markets and Translate & Adapt. This allows My Mellow to manage USD and CAD pricing alongside English and French content without relying on another third party tool, creating a smoother experience for international shoppers.

Tuned for Long Term Performance
This project was about setting mellow up with a Shopify site that feels polished on day one and remains easy to evolve over time.
