AI SEO, also called Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), is the practice of getting your store cited and recommended by generative AI engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, Microsoft Copilot), not just ranked in classic blue-link results.

These engines do not browse your site like a person. They read structure: your product schema, reviews, feeds, and the outside sources that mention you. If those signals are thin or messy, AI summarizes your competitors more accurately than it summarizes you.

But default-on is not optimized or cited. Missing policies that silently break eligibility, crawler-blocking themes, over-branded product titles, and thin product schema are exactly what keeps a store invisible to the agents. That gap is the work, and it is what we do.
