What AI actually does on a Volusion migration

What data moves from Volusion to Shopify?
Products, options and variants, images, categories, customers, order history, gift certificates where supported, content pages, and SEO metadata (titles and meta descriptions). Customer passwords cannot move between platforms, so we set up account invitations for your customers.
Will I lose my Google rankings when I leave Volusion?
Not if the redirects are done properly. Every Volusion URL changes, because Shopify uses /products/ and /collections/ paths in place of Volusion's _p/ and _s/ patterns. We crawl the live store, map every URL to its new home, and load permanent 301 redirects before launch.
How do Volusion product options map to Shopify variants?
Volusion options can add price, stand apart from inventory, and stack across option categories. Shopify variants are inventory-tracked combinations of up to three options. We map options that change stock to variants, and options that only personalize an order to line-item properties or an app, so pricing and fulfillment keep working.
Do you only migrate from Volusion?

Should we move to Shopify or Shopify Plus?
Most Volusion stores belong on standard Shopify. Shopify Plus makes sense when you need checkout customization, native B2B, multiple storefronts, or higher automation limits. As a Shopify Plus Premier Partner we can take you to either, and the upgrade later does not require another migration.
Can you keep our store running during the migration?
Yes. Your Volusion store stays live while we build on Shopify. We run a final delta import of new orders and customers right before cutover, then switch DNS with minimal downtime.
What happens after launch?
Every migration includes a 2 to 3 week post-launch monitoring window. After that, the same team can stay on through a monthly retainer for support, CRO, and new features.
