Shopify eCommerce Specialist (Admin & Apps)
Summary
Netalico is hiring a contract eCommerce Specialist to support our fully remote team on Shopify site builds and ongoing client work.
This role is focused on execution. You’ll help manage product data, configure apps, QA builds, and support the team in getting sites ready for launch.
You don’t need to be a designer or strategist, but you do need to be highly detail-oriented and comfortable working inside Shopify and related tools.
This is a part-time role to start, with potential to grow over time.

The Role
As an eCommerce Specialist, you’ll support the execution side of our projects. You’ll work closely with project managers, strategists, and developers to ensure products, content, and tools are set up correctly and efficiently.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes, solving small technical problems, and keeping things organized and moving forward.
Success in this role will be measured by
- Accuracy and completeness of product and content setup
- Speed and reliability in completing tasks
- Ability to catch issues during QA before launch
- Clear communication with the team on progress and blockers
- Ability to follow processes while improving them over time
Key Responsibilities
- Manage product uploads and updates (titles, descriptions, variants, pricing, metafields)
- Support data imports and exports (CSV, tools like Matrixify)
- Configure and QA Shopify apps (subscriptions, reviews, upsells, etc.)
- Assist with site QA, including checking links, formatting, and functionality across devices
- Help implement content updates across pages, collections, and blogs
- Support basic theme customization using Shopify’s native editor (no heavy dev required)
- Troubleshoot small issues within Shopify and escalate when needed
- Maintain organized documentation of work completed
Qualifications & Skills
- 1–3 years of experience working in Shopify or eCommerce
- Comfortable navigating Shopify admin and product setup
- Strong attention to detail, especially with repetitive tasks
- Experience working with CSVs and bulk data updates
- Ability to follow structured processes and checklists
- Clear communicator who can flag issues early
- Comfortable working remotely and managing your own time
Platform, Tools & Technology
You should have experience with
- Shopify (required)
- Google Sheets / Excel
- CSV imports/exports
- Project management tools (Asana, Trello, or similar)
- Slack
Nice to have
- Matrixify or similar import tools
- Experience with apps like Rebuy, Recharge/Appstle, Yotpo, Gorgias
- QA experience on eCommerce sites
- A/B testing tools or CRO platforms
